featured on The Loveliest Day : Salina and Jerry

It's always so exciting to have one of our weddings featured.  Check us out today on The Loveliest Day.  Salina and Jerry are such a great couple.   I felt so honored to have the chance to get to know them, become friends, and photograph their amazing day.  xoxo suzanne

before and after

I feel really lucky to have a chance to give today.  12 inches exactly.  I've been waiting for a long time to be able to donate to Locks of Love.  Sometimes when you are running a rad business, it's hard to free up your time to be able to give back to the community as often as I'd like.  Growing my hair long was something small I could do every day - a mini rebellion.  It feels really good and really freeing to cut off all that hair.  It's not that I didn't love it, but it also feels good to reinvent myself a little.  It's a visual reminder to give, open up my heart a little more, and take care of myself and my people.  Here are my iphone portraits from the day before and at the salon.
