Being part of a Church can offer a sense of community. Some consider their community their family. In the case of Seann and Scott it was their church friends who introduced the two. Their faith brought them together and their community helped foster their family. The dynamic duo love to sing, camp, hike, entertain, visit friends and partake in church activities. At their wedding 17 musicians (all of which were their friends) performed which made Seann and Scott's special day even more special. Most of their guests were friends from their church who watched them meet, fall in love, break up, get back together, get engaged and finally witness the union between Seann and Scott.Dos Besos,Katie from the Wanderers
Chloe and Grant in Exquisite Weddings
I'm so so happy to share this with you guys. Chloe and Grant's wedding in Exquisite Weddings. Read all about it =) It was so impossible to submit this wedding because there were dozens and dozens of details and fun action shots that it was impossible to narrow down. Cheers to these darlings! xoxo Suzanne
Birds of a Feather Flock Together
This shoot inspires the heck out of me. I'm so happy it's time to share it with all of you. It's a dream about 4 brides and a gorgeous landscape having imaginary tea together. I was thrilled to be among so many talented friends and to get to shoot with Mike. That song, that video, sweet bittersweet memories. After this shoot I was eating one of the cupcakes from CAKE and trying to gather grace. I thought the sugar would help me get through what was coming next and then one of those very large bird pooped on my head. Hmmm. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry but Jen immediately knew to laugh. We were all freezing, satisfied with our efforts and worn out. Mike and I were on our way to a celebration. It was suppose to be a fundraiser but instead would be a memorial. Kaitlyn lent me a knew pair of shoes and some deodorant. Before I knew it I was on the dance floor singing (reading) the lyrics to "Age of Aquarius" and dancing around to the music of the live band. We were all singing and dancing, I looked across the room and saw Palka's parents who I hadn't seen since the wedding and teared up with so many good memories. I saw all of Peggi's courageous and beautiful children giving it their all to make this a celebration. I felt like I would collapse being in such a bravely happy and sad place all at once. Tara hugged me and promised to be a connection to Peggi for each other and I left early to go home with Mike.
I love everyone involved for their help in getting me through this day and creating something so sweet and joyous that I can hold on to. Having friends hold to me up is so wonderful. I've seen this video so many times and it never fails to put a smile on my face. I hope you enjoy it.
Happy Friday! I hope you have some one to get out of the rain with.
xoxo Suzanne
This video is the best thing that has happened since sliced bread. Please please take a look.
Bob Hoffman Video Birds of a Feather
ps see sooo much more on the California Wedding Wave. Thanks so much for featuring us!!
Jennifer Nesovic, the event designer behind this concept, weaves the story behind this delightful photo shoot. “Birds of a Feather …Flock Together” Four friends dreaming of their wedding come together in this adorable inspiration shoot full of whimsy. Our “Birds” arrived piled in a Mini Cooper like a clown car, each in a gorgeous dress unique in its own way. Each lovely bird was embellished with feathery handcrafted delights in their hair. A young guitarist strummed along while they entered the delightful seaside escape. A lovely table was set with gorgeous flowers, vintage china, sweets, cake and “magic” tea. On this beautiful sunny day the waves rolled in and crashed against the sea cliffs with a roar. The spray misted over the gorgeous white leather tufted furnishings while the Persian carpet and vintage bobbles glistened in the sun. Seagulls hovered overhead while our own “Bird Brides,” each with their own bouquets, merrily whispered and explored the cliffs. They brandished antique crocheted parasols as they dreamed of the day that they would marry.”
