When photographing kids, the best approach is to be kind and loving. Kids will be kids. They will want to run, jump, laugh, hide, and be silly. Let them be themselves and guide them along gently so everyone has fun! One approach we use at SheWanders is the "drop and run." Get an adult that the kids are comfortable with to hold them in place for a moment, then let them run free. Your portraits will be beautiful and natural like the adorable Minns twins below!
