I'm in Madison for the next two weeks hanging out with a fellow traveller and photographer Keely Petersen. We have been friends since were 13. We have lived together in Waupaca, San Francisco and Sydney and spent a lot of time traveling and photographing together around Europe and even Peru. Her refrigerator is full of about a hundred photo magnets she made and many of them are of our crazy escapades. Somehow Keely and I are always on an adventure. Right now I'm enjoying some giant snowflakes, taking lots of pictures of the snow with gloves on, and cracking her up with how wonderful I think everything winter is. It's nice to have a change of pace and experience the seasons. Hopefully while I am here I will find myself on top of a rooftop photographing the winter scene below. Until then, I'll leave you with some images of some gorgeous rooftop weddings from some of mine and Keely's favorite cities. San Diego, Rome and Sydney. xoxo Suzanne
“It was a time I slept in many rooms, called myself by many names. I wandered through the quarters of the city like alluvium wanders the river banks. I knew every kind of joy, ascents of every hue. Mine was the twilight and the morning. Mine was a world of rooftops and love songs.”― Roman Payne, Rooftop Soliloquy
