San Diego Destination Wedding at the Pendry and the Prado for Mallory and Vivek.
The day really was this beautiful. I love blogging so much. I love telling you a story. Sometimes I am at a loss for words but really I guess i’m not. I guess I would say. Wow what a stunning bride Mallory is. Just sitting on the bed before she even got dressed with a smile that let’s you know she is as genuinely warm on the inside as she is on the outside. or I could say, oh my gosh don’t you love how close she is with Vivek’s little sister? Or look at this moment, I shot it through tears in my eyes - Mallory and her two moms. I love the capacity for growth here. I love that their world got bigger this morning. I could just keep going with every image, but I hope these pictures speak volumes for me. I also deeply love knowing that they will have tons of meaning for Mallory and Vivek and their family.
I’m proud of the composition, use of color, lighting, everything but I’m most proud that I got the chance to get to know these two families and found a way to let who they are shine through. As a photographer sometimes we want to direct each moment when really we produce the most beautiful moments the more we can get out of our own way.
I also just want to say the Loggia room is so so pretty! I love the natural light that falls in through out the evening. And I’m super obsessed with the cute airplane favors, they are so on brand for us.
